BRUSSELS SPROUTS
1 package (10-ounce) frozen Brussels sprouts, or 1 cup fresh Brussels sprouts 1 teaspoon parsley flakes 1 teaspoon marjoram Dash of pepper
Place the Brussels sprouts in a small saucepan with a small amount of water. Add the parsley flakes, marjoram, and pepper. Cook, covered, for 8 minutes, or until the sprouts are tender but not mushy. Drain.
Serves 1
CAULIFLOWER
1 package (10-ounce) frozen cauliflower
1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 teaspoon marjoram 1 teaspoon paprika
Place the cauliflower in a saucepan with a small amount of water. Add the lemon juice and the marjoram. Cover and simmer until the cauliflower is tender, about 10 minutes. Drain. Sprinkle with paprika and serve.
