When We conceived the idea of Brides the ShoW featuring more than 120 wedding and honeymoon experts – we knew it had to be super special. It’s a show dedicated entirely to the most exciting day of your life and we wanted every bride-to-be, ’maid and mum (and the dozens of brave grooms who attended the event in Battersea Park, London) to feel as if they were stepping into the pages of their favourite bridal blog.

In the line-up were top designers, beauty gurus and luxury travel experts, plus the crème de la crème of caterers, forists and cake-makers.Tousands of visitors gathered to watch the live catwalk shows, created by Brides fashion director Bryony Toogood (page 275). And for a dash of A-list glamour, there was Te Iconic Wedding Dress Exhibition, in partnership with American Airlines, which featured 22 of the world’s most stunning celebrity wedding dresses. In aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, the generosity of Joan Collins, the Duchess of York and Portia de Rossi among others, created a magnifcent collection in aid of a truly worthy cause.Here, the Brides team has selected the best bits to show whet your appetite.
