Are muses the new must-haves? Judging by CHANEL’s latest campaign, which spotlighted stars who are as diverse as the bags they front, Karl Lagerfeld might say oui. Model and musician Alice Dellal rocks the Boy, a style inspired by a hunting cartridge bag; A-lister Kristen Stewart cozies up to the 11.12 handbag, featuring the iconic double-C fastening; and French singer, model and actress Vanessa Paradis embodies the new Girl Chanel. Cut like one of the house’s classic jackets and worn cross-body, the whimsical style rounds out this trifecta of cool-girl extras.
New York-based jewellery brand DANNIJO is stepping onto new ground this spring with the launch of its debut shoe collection. Designers (and sisters) Jodie Snyder Morel and Danielle Snyder incorporated their edgy-meets-elegant jewellery designs into the 24-style selection, which includes printed heels, festival girl-inspired flats and chic T-strap stilettos. Considering one-name wonders like Beyonce and Madonna are already fans of this label, now’s the time to glide past the velvet rope and join the party.
