THREE OF THE BEST
A splash of colour in your make-up bag – think pretty pink and fuchsia lip gloss-is the perfect way to break out of a beauty rut…
Nivea Lip CareGloss & Shine, £2.99, gives a moisturising, natural chestnut sheen to lips and hasmacadamia nut oil. Guerlain KissKiss Gloss in Rose Peche, £13.50, is ultra-shiny, but feels gloop-free on lips.
Chanel Cristalle Gloss in Pink Candy, £13.50, may look a scary.
Barbie shade, but the super-sheer pink looks fabulous on darker skin tones.
NEED TO KNOW
If you thought a skin primer was a step too far in your make-up regime, think again. Estee Lauder has launched Prime FX Color-Neutralizing Primer in Red Cuts Blue, £20, a gel fluid specially designed to rid darker skin tones of ashiness. Applied under foundation or worn alone, the silicone and colour-correcting tint leave skin soft, even and glowing.
Rich anti-ageing formulas can make oiler skin shine. But Chantecaille Biodynamic Lifting Fluid, £190 (well, it does have technology to prevent future wrinkles), combines line-smoothing with a lightweight texture, which has mattifying and anti-bacterial benefits.
