150 g/5 oz/1/2 cups chopped mixed nuts
75 g/3 oz/1/2 cups wholemeal breadcrumbs 1/2 onion, chopped 15 ml/1 tbsp soy sauce
2.5 ml/ 1/2 tsp dried thyme
5 ml/1 tsp lemon juice 25 g/1 oz/1/2 tbsp butter or margarine
5 ml/1 tsp oil
5 ml/1 tsp yeast extract 150 ml/1/2 pt/1/2 cup water Roast potatoes Vegetables
Mix together the first eight ingredients in a bowl. Dissolve the yeast extract in the water, then add it to the mixture. Mix thoroughly. Press gently into a small greased loaf tin (pan) or baking dish. Bake in a preheated oven at 190Â°C/375Â°F/gas mark 5 for 30-40 minutes until crisp on top and hot in the centre. Serve sliced with roast potatoes and vegetables.
